It would seem that all versions of the Alfa 33 except the 16V use a radiator cap with just 7lbs of pressure. So I got one of these and fitted it to the Gamma. I went for a drive last night and all was well for quite a while but then after a few bursts of brisk acceleration the cap released the pressure and with it most of the coolant! So I'd say that 7lbs is not enough for a Gamma radiator cap. Incidentally, the 1.7 16V Alfa 33 uses a 13lbs cap which is what I've always had on my Gamma.
