Gamma one-offs: The Tre Volumi is still around, but in danger of being left outside or even scrapped as the Lancia Museum is in big trouble and will have to move before 2008; its a superb car, some interesting features (Inc S2 wheels painted black) and was in regular use by Lancia personnel for some years has 45,000Km on the clock. The T roof is in UK, its in good hands and is road registered. I found it very much a prototype quite badly finished in some ways. You may be interested to know that it is once more GOLD (was once light met. blue). Also the rear quarterlight windows have been fixed in a way that allows them pivot and disppear into the rear wings. As you know the rear seatbelts are in a recess behind the quarter trim, so they have been removed to allow the windows to drop in, and the belts have been affixed another way; they aren't the usual belts and are a Britax type, the work was done by Omicron. Owner is a Mr. St John who used to work for Pininfarina design, not cars, but office equipment. The roof is like two vinyl covered sunroofs - you just unlcip and lift them out. They are by no means watertight! They fit into a little tray built along the whole East-West length of the boot, in a tight little space above the petrol tank! Also in UK is the Scala 4-door owned by Chris Burton of S. London. It is hardly used, still has its original P6 tyres. The Olgiata shooting brake was bought at Auction by the son of coachbuilder Vignale. I think his name is Sergio, it remains in Italy but is not in regular use, just shows and events. But where is the MegaGamma?
