Hi people, After so many succesfull and unsuccesful modifications to the cooling system of my gamma's ive last week decided to go back to the original setup with the original thermostat. And it works great! My engine temperature is back ten degree lower then my last setup (blender thermostat behind the radiator). It turns out there are two different types of blender thermostats, inlet and outlet ones. The thermostat from the Beta is an intake thermostat which goes in front of the radiator. Here are two links to sites where a solution is presented to similar problems with K series engines. http://www.mgfcar.de/thermostat/Water_System_Mods.htm http://web.tiscali.it/elise_s1/ It turns out Rover have an even newer thermostat with an inlet for the Bypass from the heater as well. I got this thermostat now, if I have some time I will probably give it a try. But this thermostat is no longer cheaper then the original lancia piece so im not so sure it is a sensible modification anymore.... Cheers, Erik
