I've only just noticed Erik's message on the forum. The answer is that after 4000 miles it's still performing perfectly. I can't feel (or hear) any difference between the alternative bearing and the original SKF bearing on the other side of the car. I have almost finished writing a short "technical tip" covering the use of this bearing and will send it to Theo shortly.
