Hi Denis, I have to admit I prefer carb models and I drive my car fairly hard. With a view to the cooling I have found that most Peugeot models have twin fans which are extreemly powerful and are two stage (one fan starts on its own and if the temperature is high enough the other fan kicks in) these also fit in front of the radiator and would probably be ideal sor your situation.
