Having got Auto Italia yesterday and read the Lancia article first, I had the same thoughts as you Geoff! Peter Collins was travelling in the same group as I while in Turin and he would often go ahead, stand by the side of the road and photograph the Lancias as they went past. He ALWAYS put his camera down as I went past in my Gamma! Maybe he just didn't like my car but I think it's because he didn't want to waste his film (or memory card) on Gamma photos. He did say to me that he likes Gammas and congratulated me for going to Turin in a Gamma but obviously had decided then that Gammas would not be included in his article. We should write to him but instead of complaining too much about the lack of Gammas in his article, we should invite him to join us for the Gamma weekend in Wales so he can see for himself just how good Gammas are.
