ITS TWINS!!!!! I am now the proud father of twins, just back from seeing them for the first time. They are beautiful – both manuals, weight approx 1270kg each - one has Ice Metallic Blue eyes, the other well…… ERR, Silver? Anyway I will always love them dearly. Now down to business, first off John Frankland is a gentleman. His wife, whose name I have forgotten, sorry John if your reading this, is also a lady. Both of whom made me feel very welcome. Not only was John willing to help me to open my wallet and accept cash…… but has also kindly offered me the use of his garage to get the Ice Blue Gamma up and running again. John really wants these cars go to a good home and has been extremely helpful in accommodating me. However I have imposed a time limit to his hospitality, I want to be out of his hair by end of March – the latest. The Plan.- 1; take out engine form Silver, replace all belts, plugs, filters etc. Why? Blue has an oil leak and has not been started in approx 18 years. Silver on the other hand has a strange answer to the power steering problem- the pump is in the alternators place driven off the crank pulley meanwhile the alternator is driven off the cam pulley. 2; place it into Blue and start up. 3; free up brakes 4; test and clean all electrics. 5; drive it back to Ireland to finish project. What I need is someone how I can sit down and formulate a plan with, at the same time feeding them with copious amounts of alcohol (after the plan of course). I am willing to travel as I really want to get started. Looking forward to hearing from you guys. At last my hart, after 27 years has won – VIVA LIFE! Corrado.
