I've received the following email response from ReallyLoud aka Darren Rungasamy on his Scala photos. ------------------------------------------------------------------ The Gamma Scala was a car I photographed late last summer, and had to double take when I saw it. Two other guys have been in contact with me regarding the car, good to hear that there is interest in it. It’s at Richard Thornes garage in Grazeley Green, a Lancia and Morgan specialist just outside of Reading. I believe the car is being stored on behalf of a customer – which hopefully will be restored. The prototype I think may have been in Manchester prior to it being in Reading but I would be very surprised if it gets broken up, its significance is too important. Worth googling Richard Thorne, or Lancia specialist and giving them a call for more info – they’ve always been very friendly every time I popped round. I think I have a few more shots of the car on another computer; I’ll try and make a point of remembering to email them to you. By the way the blue Gamma coupe which was in question on your forum is YMY 649Y. Again I can only assume the car is being stored on behalf of a customer of Richard Thorne. All the best, Darren --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Even though it's at Richard Thorne's (top Lancia enthusiast and restorer for those that don't know the name)it's a real shame if it's being kept outside. The blue coupe is incidently for sale on Richard's website but there's no reference to the Scala. Charles - since you are in contact with the current owner perhaps you can arrange a viewing! I'd certainly be there.
