Subject: Gamma Consortium Winter Lunch 2023 - Canaletto, January 29th

Hello all,

It’s nearly Christmas so time to send out details of our January lunch get together!

We’ll be meeting on January 29th again at our regular restaurant, Canaletto, for Sunday lunch.  We've booked a large table in the Conservatory to eat at 1:00pm.   We normally arrive around 12:00 for a natter over a drink before eating.  

We had a great turnout with 18 attending in January this year so let’s hope we can match this.  Apologies in advance to our non-UK members.  We’ll raise a glass to absent friends.

Everyone is welcome and you don’t have to be in a Gamma.  We know many are tucked up for the winter and won’t venture out again until spring but several brownie points for those that do make it!

We usually have a lively discussion on current Gamma projects and event plans for the coming year so it’s well worth attending.  It can also be a useful place to collect needed items from the Consortium spares stock and if we’re given enough notice we can bring them along.
 
Canaletto is on the A41 between Aylesbury and Bicester and has a large car park.  There are some roadworks on the A41 on the run up from Aylesbury and also down from Bicester due to construction work but traffic should be light on a Sunday.

Another very successful January/Winter lunch with 15 people attending and 7 Gammas (plus a couple of 'other' cars).
The meeting was enjoyed so much by all present that many said "why don’t we have a Summer lunch meeting too?" After a short discussion, a plan started to emerge for a Summer Barbeque in June, possibly 25th of June. Watch this space....
