Title: DRIVE IT DAY 2021
Post by: Theo on April 09, 2021, 02:28:47 pm
We can set up our own "Drive it" event (not much time left) or join one of the many events announced as a group. I've ordered my plaque and I'll be driving it somewhere...  :D

The Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs ‘DRIVE IT DAY’ is supporting Childline on Sunday 25 April 2021

The NSPCC is delighted to be partnered with FBHVC’s ‘Drive It Day 2021’

Drive It Day is an annual event where car clubs and classic and sports car owners across the UK officially mark the first ‘drive out’ of the year. Clubs often raise money for charity and we’d like to encourage them to support Childline (an NSPCC Service) as part of their event.

Here are just some ways you might be able to help the NSPCC

Research and Reach Out. Contact your local Classic & Sports Car Clubs and encourage them to get on board for Childline. Can they do some fundraising or buy a rally plate to display on the day, or perhaps you have friends and family that would be keen to host their own Drive it Day Rally?
Help us promote Drive It Day through Social Media and local press and become a social media champion for Drive it Day.
Volunteer at one of the bigger events at locations: Bicester Heritage, British Motor Museum, Brooklands and The Ace Café (more venues to be added)

Rally plates: £10 standard & £30 platinum edition with all profits to Childline. Plates can be purchased at www.driveitday.co.uk/shop (http://www.driveitday.co.uk/shop)
