Hi to everyone hope this finds  you all well, i have a query over the power steering pump orientation/operation let me explain, my car had the original pump fitted to the rear of the cylinder head as per factory and in operation this pump rotates  anti clockwise on my spares  car it has had the pump moved to the front of the engine driven from the crank front pulley and operates clock wise but the pump is scruffy and rusty  so wondering if these pumps operate in either direction so i can use my original or clean up the rusty one for reuse.

No, as far as I know the original Gamma pumps cannot be driven from the crank pulley the 'wrong' way i.e. they only work in an anti-clockwise rotation.

My car has been converted to a front mounted steering pump and I believe the pump came from a Fiat Regata.
