Each year we try to base our AGM weekend in a different area of the UK and this year we have decided that it is time to visit Kent – the “Garden of England” over the weekend 23rd to 25th September.
Our base will be the
Dog and Bear Hotel in the pretty village of
Lenham near Ashford and easily accessible from the M2.
The Dog and Bear is an old coaching Inn and has 24 en-suite rooms but these are in great demand because of its proximity to the Channel Tunnel and its consequent convenience for travellers. The hotel is currently holding some rooms for us but, if you intend to join us, please do not delay and book now by calling 01622 858219 or emailing
dogbear@shepherd-neame.co.uk and saying that you are with the “Lancia Gamma Club”. Also please
email me at so that I can build a list of those attending.
Our itinerary at the moment includes visits to Tenderden, Bodiam Castle, the Union Mill at Cranbrook and Fort Amhurst at Chatham for the "tunnel tour". And of course the Consortium's AGM will be held on the Saturday evening before dinner.
These are always enjoyable events because they provide the chance to renew old friendships and also to make new ones.
We look forward to seeing you at Lenham.
Best wishes
Charles Shelton - Secretary
