Gamma Consortium January Lunch - Sunday 28th January

Just want to get this date in everyone’s diary so you can keep it free!

We’ll have our usual winter Sunday lunch get together on 28th January – we generally get together on the last Sunday in January so it’s pretty predictable!

More details on venue shortly but will be close to, if not same as, venue for previous meetings.

Following on from the previous post, we have a new venue this year which we went to recce yesterday. Was looking positive from the start. We went in the Delta and as we walked in the owner said 'is that a Lancia'? Transpired he's had several Lancias over the years (he's originally from Abruzzo) and various elements of the LMC have met there previously. Then in the bar we saw a very nice painting of a Fulvia in the 1972 Monte Carlo rally along with other motoring pictures.
So the new venue is Rigoletto in Middleton Stoney which is close to the A34/M40 junction in Oxfordshire. Very pleasant location with decent sized tarmac car park.
