Hi to you all this may seem a basic question but where is the low oil pressure warning light switch and the oil gauge switch fitted on the engine I've looked from the top and underneath but can only locate the coolant temp switch at back of right hand cylinder head
thanks

The switch you located at the back of the cylinder head is the coolant over-temperature light switch. The Temperature gauge sensor is located in the water 'pot' of the metal coolant pipe that goes from head to head over the engine.

The oil pressure light switch and gauge sensor are fitted at  the top of the 'block' on the left hand side ahead of the oil filter. They are hidden under the inlet manifold.
