The Gamma Consortium AGM and Rally is set for Friday, 12th September to Sunday, 14th September 2025. These dates have been strategically selected to align with the Open Monument Day in the Netherlands. This national event, initiated in 1987, opens up numerous monuments across the country to the public and is coordinated by the Stichting Open Monument Day, headquartered in Amsterdam. It's part of the European Heritage Days, and the Netherlands played a crucial role in establishing this Europe-wide initiative in the 1990s.

Please see next post below for accommodation details.

We are delighted to announce that our 2025 Gamma Consortium AGM and Rally will take place from Friday, September 12th, to Sunday, September 14th, and our accommodation will be at the Hotel de Bilderberg, Utrechtseweg 261, 6862 AK Oosterbeek, The Netherlands.
www.bilderberg.nl/en/oosterbeek/hotel-de-bilderberg/

Oosterbeek, a picturesque village in Gelderland province, is situated in the municipality of Renkum, about 5 km west of Arnhem. This village played a significant role in the Battle of Arnhem in September 1944 as depicted in the film "A Bridge Too Far" and faced heavy damage, with General Roy Urquhart's headquarters at Hotel Hartenstein. The Airborne Museum, inaugurated by Urquhart in 1978, honours this battle.

Oosterbeek is also home to the Hotel de Bilderberg, the inaugural meeting place of the
Bilderberg Group in 1954, established to foster dialogue between Europe and North America. Initially aimed at preventing another world war, the group's current agenda focuses on promoting a consensus around free market Western capitalism and its global interests.

Nestled in Oosterbeek's lush greenery, near Arnhem, Hotel de Bilderberg offers a peaceful retreat. Guests can relax in the sauna, Turkish steam bath, or indoor swimming pool. The comfortable, well-maintained rooms feature private bathrooms and breathtaking forest views. Begin your day with coffee and a fresh croissant at breakfast and enjoy a drink at the hotel bar.

The hotel boasts two exquisite restaurants: Julia's Kitchen, offering French American cuisine inspired by the renowned Julia Child, and Trattoria Artusi, showcasing the unique flavours of Italy. Join us for dinner at the hotel on Friday night, September 12th. The hotel also provides a large, free parking area for our Gammas.

Our AGM and Saturday dinner will be held in a private room at the nearby Stately Home Groot Warnsborn, which spans over 750 acres of historic land.

We have reserved 20 rooms at the Hotel de Bilderberg. These rooms must be booked directly with the hotel by calling +31 (0)26 339 63 33 or emailing reservation@bilderberg-hoteldebilderberg.nl and mentioning "Lancia Gamma" or "Gamma Consortium". If you encounter any issues with your booking, please contact Eveline de Bruijn (sales) or Nathalie Wien (events) at nathalie.wien@bilderberg-hoteldebilderberg.nl.

Prices for a two-night stay in a Regular Double Room are as follows:

Hotel rooms                                                         € 110
Surcharge for taxes and service                             € 6.75 per person per night
Breakfast buffet                                                   € 19.50 per person per day
Dinner (3 courses) at the Hotel de Bilderberg         € 47.50 per person

Saturday night dinner (3 courses) at Groot Warnsborn   € 47.50 per person

We also need to cover a €80 fee for hiring the private dining room on Saturday night, and we kindly ask all present to contribute towards this cost.

It is important to stress that the prices above are based on a two-night stay in a Regular Double Room. If you would like a room upgrade or wish to book more than two nights, please contact the hotel or check the special offers on their website at https://www.bilderberg.nl/en/packages/morenights-veluwe/. Please note that these offers are not part of our reserved rooms, so availability is limited. The hotel offers free cancellation up to one day before arrival, so you can book early with confidence.

Once you have booked your accommodation, please let us know by emailing us at AGM2025@GammaConsortium.com.

Our many thanks to Robert van Overbeeke and Robert Servaas for making all the arrangements.
